The Moldovan language is a blend of Latin roots and Eastern European influences. With its unique grammatical and lexical features, it is quite engaging but also challenging for translation. Our team at Etalon Translation Agency is ready to take on this task, offering both standard and notarized translations, ensuring timely completion of all agreed procedures.
Moldovan Language - Translation Specifics
Despite its similarity to Romanian, Moldovan has its own unique expressions, idioms, and cultural contexts that must be considered for accurate meaning conveyance. In some cases, as with Russian, local documents may be written in Cyrillic, requiring knowledge of both writing systems. Without understanding these nuances, there is a high risk of distorting the original meaning, so when preparing documents, it is essential to consider both their specific characteristics and the target audience's requirements.
Documents We Translate
Taking on Moldovan-to-Russian translation, and vice versa, we:

Work with accounting reports, financial statements, and banking documents, where each detail matters.
Translate instructions, user manuals, and equipment descriptions, taking into account specific terminology.

Translate passports, certificates, diplomas, and other documents that require precise personal data translation.
Translation Costs and Deadlines
The rates for Moldovan translations depend on the specific text, the order volume, and the complexity of the work. Additionally, associated services and the language pair requested by the client are equally important. Preparation times for documents vary - we offer both standard and expedited translations, allowing each partner to choose the most optimal cooperation option.
At Etalon, we don’t limit ourselves to just Moldovan; we offer partners translations into Ukrainian and a wide range of additional services. Each service is negotiated individually, making choosing us an even more advantageous decision. Contact us - we are always at your service!
The translation agency "Etalon" has been operating in the Ukrainian market since 2010, providing professional written and oral translation services.

When are you open?
All three offices — Kharkiv, Kyiv and Bratislava — are open Monday to Friday, 09:00–18:00. Each keeps its own local time, and Bratislava (Central European time) is an hour behind the two Ukrainian offices, so allow for that difference if you're calling from abroad.
Do I need to come to the office?
You don't need to visit us in person. Send scans of your documents by e-mail and we'll quote the price and turnaround; some services need the original, which then travels by courier or post instead of you. We return the finished document the same way — by post, or as a signed electronic file where the receiving authority accepts it.
Can I get the translation the same day?
It depends on which office handles your order. In Kharkiv and Kyiv a standard document can often be ready the same day if you send the scan early and choose the express option, which may cost extra — we confirm this when we quote. In Slovakia the timings are different: a sworn translation of a standard document usually takes up to 2–3 working days, express by arrangement, and what you receive the same day there is the quote rather than the finished translation. Larger or more complex jobs, and services that involve a state authority, take longer in either country.
